Job summary
Strack, Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our construction team. You will operate machines such as dozers, excavators, loaders, and trucks on diverse job sites and must prioritize safety while ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all tasks.
You will perform inspections, monitor for malfunctions, and follow site plans to meet schedules, while collaborating with supervisors and crew. Travel to multiple locations and reliable transportation are required.
Qualifications
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as dozers, excavators, loaders, and trucks.
- Strong safety focus and ability to follow site policies.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
- Reliable transportation and punctual work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Operate dozers, excavators, loaders, haul trucks, scrapers and rollers.
- Conduct daily inspections and routine maintenance of equipment.
- Monitor for equipment malfunctions and safety hazards.
- Follow site plans and instructions to complete tasks on schedule.
- Ensure compliance with quality and environmental regulations.
- Safely load and unload materials and equipment.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and teammates for smooth operations.
- Maintain physical ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
