Job summary

LPX Group is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate wheel loaders, excavators, dozers, and other heavy construction equipment in the Greater Louisville area.

The role requires 2+ years of hands-on experience with heavy machinery, ability to perform maintenance, and strong physical stamina for outdoor work under varying conditions. Candidates must be able to work independently and support road and flood control projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating wheel loaders, excavators, backhoes, dozers, or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including wheel loaders, excavators, dozers, and more.
• Perform regular servicing and maintenance as scheduled.
• Grade and shoulder road surfaces, compact road areas.
• Support flood control and channel maintenance tasks.
• Assist with solid waste disposal and establishing grades.
• Direct maintenance staff when needed.
• Adhere to company safety guidelines in all tasks.
