Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to support aggregate production. You will operate heavy equipment, maintain stockpiles, and ensure equipment is safe and functional on site.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, basic maintenance, assisting crew, and completing equipment paperwork. This role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of heavy equipment operation or related experience.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and ability to work in varied climates.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in aggregate production.
• Maintain stockpiles of stone to ensure consistent production of asphalt.
• Perform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on equipment; escalate issues as needed.
• Assist crew with cleaning, shoveling and related tasks.
• Fuel, oil and grease equipment and complete related paperwork.
