Job summary

EMR Group in Pensacola, FL, is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our depot. You will operate excavators and front-end loaders to move and process metal, perform daily inspections, and follow safety protocols in a fast-paced recycling environment.

We value reliability, teamwork, and the ability to multitask. The role requires working outdoors in all weather, passing background checks and screenings, and contributing to a safety-first culture with PPE and protective gear

Qualifications

• Previous experience with material handling and excavators (a plus).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and ability to multitask.
• Must pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators/front end loaders to move and process metal.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
