Job summary

The Workforce Group a LEMOINE company, is seeking experienced and dependable Heavy Equipment Operators to join our Emergency Response Logistics Support Reservist Cadre Team.

In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting emergency operations by safely operating various types of heavy equipment—potentially including telehandlers and forklifts to load, unload, and transport essential supplies and materials.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid certification for operating heavy equipment (e.g., telehandlers, forklifts) is required.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours – nights, weekends, and holidays during emergency deployments is essential.
• The ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
• Proven experience operating heavy equipment in logistics, construction, or emergency response settings is preferred.
• Must be physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in diverse environmental conditions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are preferred.
• Previous experience operating heavy equipment (e.g., loaders, excavators, cherry pickers, bulldozers) is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to safely load, unload, and move materials and supplies.
• Support the setup and demobilization of logistics operations at deployment sites.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Assist with general material handling and logistical support tasks as needed.

Summary:

The Workforce Group a LEMOINE company, is seeking experienced and dependable Heavy Equipment Operators to join our Emergency Response Logistics Support Reservist Cadre Team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting emergency operations by safely operating various types of heavy equipment-potentially including telehandlers and forklifts to load, unload, and transport essential supplies and materials. As part of a highly responsive logistics team, you'll help ensure the timely and effective delivery of critical resources to disaster-affected areas.

These areseasonal positions and, if activated, will likely require travel on short notice, generally lasting from several days to a few weeks and possibly 30 days or more, depending on the disaster response needs. Ideal candidates for these missions will be available to deploy within 24 to 72 hours of notification.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment to safely load, unload, and move materials and supplies.
