Williams Civil Construction in Missoula, Montana is hiring Operators to be part of our action‑packed worksites including utilities and site development. We’re looking for skilled individuals who can safely and efficiently operate a variety of equipment such as blades, dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks, water trucks, etc.

What You’ll Do

• Safety is our top priority; as an Operator, you’ll keep a keen eye for hazards to keep yourself and the team out of harm’s way.
• Operate a diverse range of heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, blades, haul trucks, water trucks, and dozers, for everything from precise excavation to smooth paving prep.
• Ensure safe slopes on excavations, proper barricading, and compliance with trenching and shoring standards.
• Every day presents new challenges; you’ll tackle them head‑on, whether it’s troubleshooting equipment issues or adapting to changing site conditions, using your quick‑think skills.
• Travel from interstate highways to rural dirt roads from various locations.

What You Bring

• 2+ Years Operating Experience – Excavator / Loader / Dozer / Blade
• Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to heavy equipment operations
• Knowledge of trenching and shoring standards, aggregate sizes, classifications, and weight requirements of loads leaving the pit
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write short correspondence
• Numerical skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions
