Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years operating heavy equipment.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Valid DOT medical exam card.
• Knowledge of traffic laws for heavy equipment.
• Ability to operate equipment in confined areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ground for finishing materials.
• Grade aggregate surfaces for repairs.
• Remove existing pavement surfaces.
• Lay asphalt on streets and parking lots.
• Finish newly laid asphalt pavement.
• Load, transport, and unload heavy equipment.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance.
