Phoenix Global is hiring for a full-time heavy equipment operator in Fairfield, AL. The role focuses on operating end loaders and other specialized mobile equipment while maintaining a safe work area and adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, conducting pre- and post-operation inspections, monitoring machine performance, and coordinating with maintenance to address potential issues.

Qualifications

• Experience operating end loader, excavator, dozer, and other specialized mobile equipment.
• A team and safety-oriented mentality.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time & lift up to 40lbs.
• Knowledge of bulk materials.
• Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operate various heavy mobile equipment.
• Comply with all safety regulations and policies.
• Load/off-load materials in designated areas.
• Conducts pre op and post op inspections.
• Maintain work area to allow safe movement and access.
• Monitor any change in machine performance to identify potential malfunctions & report to the maintenance department effectively.
• Upkeep and maintain the cleanliness of equipment.
• Perform daily machine inspection and routine greasing, oiling, and fueling.
