Job summary

Sequoia Services is seeking a qualified heavy equipment operator in North Carolina to operate excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and rollers on active construction sites. You will load trucks, grade surfaces, follow grade stakes or GPS controls, and coordinate with crew members to maintain safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of construction experience, knowledge of CAT equipment, and the ability to obtain necessary certifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction experience.
• Strong job knowledge and safety awareness.
• Ability to obtain required certifications.
• Fit for duty and physically capable.

Responsibilities

• Operate CAT bulldozers (D5-D8) safely and efficiently.
• Operate CAT excavators (320-349) as needed.
• Use GPS systems (Trimble/TopCon) when available.
• Load trucks and grade surfaces to specified elevations.
• Maintain safe job site by following regulations and procedures.
• Coordinate with crew through signals and GPS controls.
