Job summary

Blythe Development Co, a Charlotte-based general contractor, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to perform safe, efficient earthmoving and site work on projects across NC, SC, and VA. You will operate loaders, excavators, bulldozers, and related equipment, perform daily maintenance, and work with foremen to meet schedules.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years' experience, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and a solid safety mindset. We offer strong benefits and an employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively on jobsites.
• Daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
• Ability to work as part of a crew and follow foremen's instructions.

Responsibilities

• Enter/exit heavy machinery with three points of contact.
• Operate equipment such as loaders, trackhoes, bulldozers, rollers, and excavators.
• Maintain equipment in proper and safe operating condition.
• Follow traffic control instructions and company safety policies.
