Job summary

Experience operating bull dozers, motor graders, and similar heavy equipment if applicable.

Responsibilities

Operates steam, gasoline or diesel-powered machinery used in material handling, bridge building, earth moving, excavating, grading and road construction or maintenance.
Operates a motor grader to scrape dirt and gravel roads and level road shoulders.
Operates tractors, bulldozers, power shovel, and similar equipment to level and grade sites and perform earth moving.
Checks mechanical conditions and makes minor repairs on machinery and equipment.
Operates a power crane in dredging, excavating or moving earth, rock, or sand, and moves lumber and girders.
Works as finisher cat operator or maintenance construction and performs difficult finishing and grading operations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
