Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator/Driller Trainee for construction work at Fort Ann, NY. The role involves operating backhoes, skid steers, excavators, and loaders while learning drilling and blasting processes.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy construction equipment is helpful.
• Valid Driver's License with own transportation.
• Experience as construction laborer.
• Good mechanical aptitude around equipment, motors, hydraulic, electrical systems.
• Must pass ATF screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment per instructions from Superintendents or Drill Operators.
• Maintain safety and perform daily equipment maintenance.
• Out-of-town travel and overtime may be required.
• Learn drill patterns and layouts, then execute as directed by the Foreman.
• Complete drill reports and hole sheets and submit timecards.
