Job summary

PCSI is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator at FT. SILL, OK, to operate cranes, shovels, bulldozers and other heavy machinery. The role reports to the Roads & Cemetery Manager and is based at FT. SILL, OK, with typical hours Monday–Friday 7:30am–4pm.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least four years of related heavy equipment experience; English language proficiency is essential. CDL may be required for certain equipment and security clearance could be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum four years’ recent and related experience operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, clamshells, power shovels, motor graders, heavy loaders, carryalls, bulldozers, rollers, scrapers and large tractors.
• Read and interpret grade and slope stakes and simple plans; grease, adjust and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Use equipment to excavate, load, or move dirt, gravel, or other materials.
