Job summary

NACCO Natural Resources is seeking a Regular Employee to operate construction equipment across sites in the Longview area. You will level, shape, and excavate surfaces while adhering to OSHA/MSHA safety policies and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, coordination with site supervisors, and occasional travel. A high school diploma or GED and 2 years of off-road equipment experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment such as graders, bulldozers, and loaders.
• Familiarity with GPS equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of proper equipment operation techniques and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must understand basic mechanical workings of construction equipment and perform basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate construction equipment to level, shape, and excavate surfaces.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure proper functioning.
• Install structures, erosion matting, silt fencing, seeding, and fueling as directed.
• Collaborate with team to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Travel to various sites as required and comply with safety policies.
