Job summary

Amrize is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator in Brighton, CO. The role involves operating dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks and other large equipment used in sand, gravel, stone production for Ready-mix and asphalt projects.

Daily tasks include equipment inspections, loading materials, maintaining safety and environmental compliance, and performing minor repairs. A minimum of one year of related experience and strong safety orientation are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to load trucks and feed bins with aggregates.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and orderliness.
• Perform daily safety inspections of equipment.
• Follow safety, environmental, and compliance requirements at all times.
• Load materials into bins, crushers, trucks or plants.
• Move earth or materials between locations.
• Conduct visual inspections and minor equipment repairs as needed.
• Complete paperwork as necessary and assist with other duties.
• Promote safety and health environment policies in all work areas.
