Job summary

Purdue University seeks a skilled heavy equipment operator to support campus projects, road and parking infrastructure, and signage installations. The role includes maintenance, repair work, and outdoor duties across Purdue's campuses and airport facilities.

Qualified candidates will have 4+ years of relevant experience, a valid US driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a Class B CDL within 90 days. Knowledge of safety and site certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of heavy equipment operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment for campus projects, gravel pit operations and utility repairs.
• Maintain, construct and repair campus streets, roads, parking lots and garages.
• Install, maintain and repair street signage and pavement markings.
• Assist with snow and ice removal on campus streets, roads, parking lots/garages and airport facilities.
