Job summary

Nabholz Construction Services is seeking an Operator to manage a range of heavy equipment for building, roadway, pier, and utility projects. You will work outdoors in varied weather, using bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, cranes, and asphalt equipment with emphasis on safe, efficient operations.

The role requires knowledge of heavy machinery and strong communication, with the ability to read blueprints and prepare sketches for projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Heavy Equipment and Self-Propelled Construction Equipment.
• Rock crushing and well-drilling equipment.
• Good Communication Skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy transportation and construction equipment including bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, cranes, and asphalt equipment.
• Operating a wide variety of heavy-duty, self-propelled construction equipment for projects including building construction, roadway construction, pier construction, grading and excavation; digging around utility & installing utilities, sewer lines, water lines, storm drains, and electrical conduits.
• Performing minor maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Preparing operational reports on equipment.
• Operate rock crushing and well-drilling equipment.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and preparing sketches for projects.
• This job is safety sensitive for medical marijuana purposes.
• All other tasks as assigned.
