Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a heavy equipment operator to support aggregate production. You will operate equipment, maintain stockpiles, and ensure plant cleanliness to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires basic physical fitness, the ability to work in various weather conditions, and adherence to safety policies. A GED or high school diploma and at least one year of related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of heavy equipment operation or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in all climates.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in the production of aggregates.
• Maintain stockpiles of stone to ensure consistent production of asphalt.
• Maintain housekeeping of plant and facilities.
• Ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Perform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on equipment.
