Job summary

Seward County Roads Department is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to operate road construction equipment and support the repair and construction of county roads, bridges, culverts, and right-of-ways in Seward County, Nebraska.

Applicants must be 19 or older, legally work in the U.S., have a high school diploma or GED, and hold a valid Driver’s License plus a Commercial Driver’s License – Class A. Starting wage is $23.46 per hour, depending on experience.

This position performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled duties associated with the operation of road construction equipment and the repair, maintenance, and construction of County roads, bridges, culverts, and right-of-ways.
