Job summary

Taurus Industrial Group, LLC is seeking a Skid Steer / Mini-Ex Operator to safely operate and maintain skid steer loaders on construction or landscaping sites. The role includes reading site plans and following safety protocols to minimize risk.

The ideal candidate will have experience with compact equipment, perform regular inspections, and coordinate with foremen and drivers to meet production goals while complying with OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experience operating skid steers and other compact equipment.

  • Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

  • Basic mechanical knowledge for routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Operate skid steer loaders and other compact equipment to perform digging, grading, trenching, backfilling, lifting, and material handling.
  • Read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and cut/fill information to ensure accurate sitework.
  • Perform daily pre-operation and post-operation inspections for safety and maintenance needs.
  • Maintain equipment through greasing, cleaning, and basic servicing.
  • Follow safety protocols including OSHA standards and PPE requirements.
  • Assist with general labor tasks such as site cleanup, traffic control, or snow plowing when needed.
  • Communicate effectively with foremen, crew members, truck drivers, and other operators to coordinate work and meet production goals.

A Skid Steer /Mini -Ex Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining skid steer loaders to perform excavation, grading, material handling, and other construction or site-related tasks.
