As an Equipment Operator, after your paid training, you will operate equipment to safely move earth, equipment, tools, and materials to and from job sites. Reporting to the crew Foreman and as a member of your crew team, you will be asked to assist with general labor.

What You'll Do

1. Safely operate heavy equipment such as: skid steers, backhoe, trencher, paver, dozer, milling saw, road grater, hydro-excavator, track hoe and more
2. Load and unload equipment and materials
3. Maintain daily pre-shift vehicle and equipment inspections
4. Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment
5. Maintain all industry-required Operator Qualifications
6. Perform other tasks as requested by leadership

Work Environment

1. Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
2. All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English
3. Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling
4. Work is performed within the “red zone” of heavy equipment
5. Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
