Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of asphalt manufacturing operations, ensuring a safe, productive, and efficient environment.
  • Champion a proactive safety culture and ensure strict compliance with safety practices and regulations.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies to achieve production goals and quality standards.
  • Deliver world-class customer service and timely scheduling for both internal and external clients.
  • Oversee budgeting, production planning, staffing, and maintenance activities.
  • Manage production teams, optimize equipment and facility usage, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze operational and financial reports to maximize plant profitability.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage procurement within budget parameters.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management and collaborate with the accounting department.
  • Train, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
  • Maintain environmental compliance and fulfill all reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate with other business units to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
  • Frequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involving physical agility.
  • Regularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder height.
  • Lift and move objects weighing up to 25-50 lbs as needed.
  • Work primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather and environmental conditions.
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud environments.
  • Must have specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, to operate equipment safely.
