Responsibilities

• Operate heavy construction equipment (excavators, bulldozers, graders, loaders, rollers, backhoes) to perform earthmoving and site prep.
• Perform grading, trenching, excavation, backfilling, and material handling per plans and specs.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-operation inspections for safe operation.
• Perform basic maintenance including fueling, lubricating, and cleaning machines.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, surveyors, and crew to complete projects safely and efficiently.
• Follow all safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and job-site requirements.
• Maintain awareness of underground utilities and hazards.
• Assist with site cleanup, material movement, and other tasks as needed.
• Report equipment issues and maintenance needs promptly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy construction equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, rollers, and backhoes to perform earthmoving and site preparation activities, both free hand and GPS.
• Perform grading, trenching, excavation, backfilling, and material handling according to project plans and specifications.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safe and proper functioning.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance including fueling, lubricating, and cleaning machines.
• Work closely with site supervisors, surveyors, and crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently.
• Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and job site safety requirements.
• Maintain awareness of underground utilities and other hazards while operating equipment.
• Assist with site cleanup, material movement, and other general construction tasks as needed.
• Report equipment issues, maintenance needs, and safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
