GCC Aggregates in Borger, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine vehicle inspection and maintenance, operate front-end loaders, excavators, water trucks, and other site equipment, and maintain a safe work environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of related experience, strict adherence to safety policies, and willingness to learn MSHA safety rules and plant safety procedures. GCC emphasizes equal opportunity and a family-like culture.

Responsabilidades

• Performs routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking oil, water, and tires.
• Operates various equipment for general site preparation and related assignments.
• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
• Operates front-end loaders as required.
• Operates excavators as required.
• Operates water trucks as required.
• Operates various equipment for general site preparation, landscaping and related assignments.
• Will maintain a safe working environment, adhere to safety policies and practices, perform daily housekeeping of assigned area, perform daily workplace inspections, adhere to plant policies and proper use of plant radios.
• Should be familiar or willing to be trained on MSHA safety rules, safety procedures for plant mobile equipment, lockout/Tagout policy, confined spaces policy, hot work policy, lubricants, paints/solvents and other environmentally sensitive materials.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Will work where and when needed as directed by plant supervisor to meet plant needs.
