Job summary

Broussard Brothers, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanical Helper to support our on-site maintenance team. The role focuses on greasing, servicing and basic upkeep of heavy machinery, with a path to more advanced tasks as you gain experience.

Workweek is Monday through Friday, with after-hours calls on a rotating basis. The position offers hands-on learning alongside seasoned mechanics in a busy field operation.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting mechanics and performing basic maintenance tasks.
• Willingness to work Monday–Friday and participate in after-hours rotation.
• Ability to perform greasing, servicing and minor repairs under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Greasing equipment and components.
• Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance tasks.
• Assisting experienced mechanics as needed.
• Maintaining equipment and keeping work area clean and organized.
• Participating in after-hours on-call rotations as required.
