Job summary

RiverStone Group, based in Iowa, is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic for work at our McCausland quarry with travel to New Liberty, LeClaire and Bettendorf locations. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 6am–2pm, with overtime as needed.

Qualified candidates will have at least 5 years in heavy equipment repair, a safety-focused mindset, and the ability to work in all weather. Welding and heavy equipment operation are a plus, with responsibilities including maintenance, safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance (as listed).
• Safety-focused with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Welding and operating heavy equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and environmental rules per MSHA and company policies.
• Maintain and repair equipment safely and efficiently (front-end loaders, haul trucks, skid steers, etc).
• Communicate with plant management on safety/maintenance/repair needs, with proper documentation.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
