Job summary

Linder Industrial Machinery Company is seeking a mobile heavy equipment technician to perform preventive maintenance and basic service on a variety of machinery. You will inspect equipment, drain and replace oil, obtain oil samples, and document work with detailed reports for management.

Requirements include 3–5 years of technician experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and CDL B with air brake endorsement for most trucks. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of technician experience.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• CDL B with air brake endorsement required on most trucks.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment
• Obtain oil samples from equipment
• Drain and replace oil
• Determine necessary parts, materials, and tooling
• Follow steps outlined in maintenance manual
• Perform and complete machine inspection reports
• Provide reports to management in the time frame specified by department guidelines
• Communicate PM issues to manager
• Maintain proper care and use of special tools
• Maintain work area and service vehicle in a safe and clean manner
• Additional duties as requested by manager
