Job summary

Wallenius Wilhelmsen in Pooler, GA is hiring a Manufacturing-Heavy Equipment Processor. You will load and unload construction equipment, operate lift trucks and overhead cranes, and move heavy loads around the yard to facilitate shipping and receiving processes.

Qualifications

• Operate various heavy equipment, forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Read and interpret shipping/receiving documents (bills of lading, manifests, etc.).
• Must have a current driver's license to move units to yard/storage.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload construction equipment to/from trailers for receiving or shipment.
• Safely operate lift truck, overhead crane, or other material handling equipment.
• Drive and move equipment including backing up, tilting or raising attachments as needed.
• Work outdoors in all reasonable weather conditions.
• Read and interpret paperwork such as bills of lading, shipping orders, and export docs.
