Job summary

Pima JTED is seeking a part-time Lab Assistant in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves assisting the instructor with classroom activities, setting up lab equipment, and monitoring supplies. Candidates must have a high school diploma, relevant HEO training certifications, and a valid Arizona Driver’s License. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current negative TB test (within the last year).
• Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card or be able to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Assist the instructor in lab activities and preparations.
• Set up laboratory equipment needed for demonstrations.
• Monitor lab supplies and restock as needed.

Skills

HEO training certifications (ie NCCER, OSHA)

Proficiency with HEO skills

Communication skills

Knowledge of internet use for research

Knowledge of using a high-volume copy machine

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid Arizona Driver License
