Job summary

R.J. Grondin is seeking Heavy Equipment & Heavy Truck Technicians to maintain and repair our fleet of construction equipment, trucks, trailers, and support vehicles. Positions are available for developing, experienced, and senior-level technicians.

Technician level and compensation are based on demonstrated skill, diagnostic ability, and experience. Pay ranges from $24.00 – $40.00 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated ability.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy equipment, diesel, trucks or fleet mechanics.
• Ability to safely use hand and diagnostic tools.
• CDL, technical training, certifications are a plus.

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Troubleshoot diesel, hydraulic, electrical, brake, drivetrain, and related systems.
• Complete shop and field repairs on heavy equipment and trucks.
