Job summary

D2B Groups is seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment at client sites. You will troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform inspections, and complete repairs or part replacements while prioritizing safety and uptime.

The role involves coordinating with the Service Supervisor to plan schedules, inspecting and testing equipment, and keeping records of work performed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with heavy equipment and performing diagnostics.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic system knowledge.
• Ability to work safely at client sites and follow procedures.
• Background checks and physical/drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs on heavy equipment at customer sites.
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Order parts and coordinate with service supervisor for travel and scheduling.
• Provide troubleshooting guidance to junior technicians and escalate complex issues.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate service records.
• Maintain neat, safe work area and service vehicle.
