Job summary

Quinn CAT is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain Caterpillar machines in our shop. You will perform diagnostics, routine and complex repairs, and rebuild components to ensure equipment keeps customers moving.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a two‑year diesel/power equipment tech program, and 5+ years of hands‑on repair experience. Welding is a plus, and safety is a priority in our shop environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical school program (min 2 years) focused on diesel or power equipment systems.
• At least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on mechanical repair experience with diesel, earthmoving, or industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics and repair on Caterpillar machines in the shop.
• Perform routine and complex repairs, inspect and maintain equipment, and rebuild components for optimal performance.
• Maintain detailed service records and collaborate with other technicians while following safety protocols.
