AllSearch Professional Staffing, Inc. seeks an experienced Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered heavy construction equipment at customer sites in Bloomington, IN.

The role emphasizes field diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Responsibilities include on-site inspections, documenting repairs, and communicating recommendations to customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy equipment experience.
• Technical school certificate or equivalent hands-on work experience.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment mechanical systems.
• Basic computer proficiency for electronic work orders, service documentation, data entry, and internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, troubleshoot, recondition, and repair heavy construction equipment and components at customer locations.
• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy equipment.
• Identify equipment malfunctions, determine necessary repairs, and communicate service recommendations to customers.
• Document diagnostic findings, completed repairs, labor hours, materials used, and service recommendations through work orders and service reports.
• Identify opportunities to recommend dealership maintenance and service programs to customers.
• Participate in technical training covering heavy equipment systems, manufacturer service procedures, and equipment diagnostics.
• Maintain assigned service truck, diagnostic tools, repair equipment, and parts inventory.
• Follow established equipment maintenance, workplace safety, and field service procedures.
