Qualifications
- Five+ years of heavy-equipment maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Ability to diagnose and repair excavators, drills, and similar equipment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, diesel-engine, and electrical issues.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, oil changes, and tune-ups.
- Repair or replace faulty parts and components.
- Complete major repairs and equipment overhauls when necessary.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to improve reliability and minimize downtime.
- Read manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics; use diagnostic tools.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Communicate equipment status and repair needs to team members.
- Follow safety procedures and keep an organized work area.
