Qualificações

• At least 5 years of maintenance experience working with heavy equipment, trailers, or cranes.
• At least 5 years of experience across two additional technical areas, such as hydraulics, electronics, or small engines.
• High school diploma or GED, along with trade school or equivalent training in diesel mechanical repair.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, cranes, and other motorized equipment.
• Review daily work assignments with the Shop Foreman and prioritize repairs.
• Locate and prepare the necessary parts and tools to reduce equipment downtime.
• Complete work orders accurately, including mileage, operating hours, and repair details.
• Report emergency repair requests to the Shop Foreman for prioritization.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean, organized tools and work areas.
• Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently.
• Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.

Job Overview

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least 5 years of maintenance experience working with heavy equipment, trailers, or cranes.
• At least 5 years of experience across two additional technical areas, such as hydraulics, electronics, or small engines.
• High school diploma or GED, along with trade school or equivalent training in diesel mechanical repair.
• Two years of technical or vocational school training and five years of hands‑on repair experience.
• Relevant professional certifications in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and respond to urgent repair needs.

Travel and Work Requirements

• Travel up to 50%, including out-of-town and out-of-state assignments.
• Maintain 24/7 availability for emergency repair calls.
• Work extended hours and in varying weather conditions when required.
• Perform frequent bending, twisting, stooping, walking, and lifting.
• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds; assistance is required for items weighing more than 75 pounds.

Compensation

Starting pay is $23.00 per hour, with higher pay available depending on experience, up to $25.00 per hour.
