Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to lift, move, and position heavy loads at industrial sites. You will operate stationary or traveling cranes, adhering to safety protocols and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include crane inspections, daily maintenance, and following signals from riggers. Applicants must have NCCCO/NCCER certification, TWIC, and a valid driver’s license, with at least five years of equipment operation experience in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Education – no minimum education requirements.
• Certification / License: NCCCO or NCCER, State issued Driver’s License and TWIC Card.
• Experience – 5 years of operating equipment in an industrial setting.
• Physical, mental & environmental requirements – ability to sit/stand/move and lift up to 50 pounds; maintain safety and situational awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane under general supervision and follow written/verbal signals.
• Inspect crane for safety issues and perform daily maintenance.
• Move loads and position machinery at construction sites and industrial facilities.
• Complete job tickets and necessary paperwork.
• Maintain NCCCO certifications to meet regulations.
