Job summary

Blattner Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Oklahoma to troubleshoot and repair a range of equipment from heavy construction to light tools. You will operate machinery to diagnose issues, inspect for defects, and assist with small welding and fabrication tasks in the shop.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to procedures, and collaboration with supervisors and teammates to maintain project productivity.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and fabrication knowledge from a 2-year post-secondary degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of maintenance knowledge and experience with mechanic work and light welding.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment across heavy construction to light tools.
• Operate equipment to diagnose problems and inspect defects.
• Assist with small welding and fabrication tasks coming through shop.
• Maintain safety policies and procedures in the work environment.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Troubleshoots and repairs all types of equipment from heavy construction to light support equipment and work tools. Operates equipment to diagnose problems and inspects equipment for defects.Responsible for small welding and fabricating tasks required on equipment coming through shop. Able to complete tasks with minimal direction.

STEP INTO THE ROLE

Performs repairs on all types of equipment and work tools. Operates equipment to diagnose problems and inspects equipment for defects.Assists supervisors, co-workers with a variety of mechanic, and related tasks as necessary.Highly aware of safety precautions, policies, and procedures and is able to assist management in maintaining a safe work environment.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Mechanical and fabrication knowledge usually obtained through a 2 yr. post-secondary degree or equivalent combinations of training and/or related experience.

One to three years of knowledge of maintenance procedures and tooling obtained through previous work experience in mechanic and light welding.

WHAT SETS YOU APART

• Valid Commercial Driver's License with acceptable driving record or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to obtain Hazmat with tanker endorsement.
