Job summary

Branch Builds, Inc. in Virginia is seeking an experienced and safety-oriented Heavy Duty Truck Driver to join our expanding Civil Division. The role involves operating heavy-duty trucks designed for off-road transportation of earth, rock or bulk materials, with equipment such as dump trucks.

You will perform routine maintenance, fueling and daily servicing; load/unload; and comply with OSHA regulations. Candidates typically have 1–3 years of heavy truck driving experience; DOT experience

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction techniques.
• 1 to 3 years of heavy duty truck driving experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• DOT experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• May service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment.
• Routine fueling, lubrication and servicing.
• Cleaning of equipment and work area.
• Operate controls.
• Positioning truck for loading and unloading.
• Dumping/off loading.
• May perform other related duties.
