Job Description

The Heavy Duty Porter provides superior service to both internal and external customers by performing cleaning duties across Boyd Gaming properties, including Food & Beverage kitchens and special event venues.

• Perform cleaning duties as directed by the Executive Steward, including cleaning floors, walls, ceilings, kitchen equipment, and trash management.
• Provide excellent customer service, positively interacting with customers and coworkers, and handling difficult situations with resilience.
• Assist with cleaning grease barrels, trays, floor drains, and grease traps.
• Occasionally work at the Casino Café or during special events and parties on the Casino Boat.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licenses and certifications required by Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

The skills for this role are typically acquired through a minimum of two months’ on-the-job training or related experience.
