Point Spring & Driveshaft Co. in Troy, PA is seeking a hands-on Heavy-Duty Mechanic to diagnose and repair truck components, using diagnostic tools, schematics, and manuals to assess issues.

You will document repairs and parts used, follow safety standards, and help minimize downtime by coordinating with the team. Own tools are required, and CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of heavy-duty mechanic experience.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, suspension, drivetrains, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with shop tools, PPE, and repair documentation.
• Must have own tools.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring (Requirements)

Physical Requirements And Work Environment

• Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, or lie down.
• Regular use of hand and shop tools.
• Must lift and carry objects up to 75 lbs.
• Exposure to loud noise, grease, fumes, and temperature fluctuations.
• Work may take place indoors or occasionally outdoors.
• Company-provided PPE (e.g., safety glasses, gloves, steel toe boots) required.
• Must provide personal tools sufficient for heavy duty truck maintenance.
