Job summary

A heavy-duty vehicle service provider is seeking a Heavy-Duty Alignment & Frame Straightening Technician to accurately diagnose, align, and repair frames, suspensions, and steering systems on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The ideal candidate should have experience in structural repair and be proficient using hydraulic frame machines. This role involves coordinating with body shop and mechanical teams and maintaining an organized work area following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy-duty truck alignment, frame straightening, or related structural repair.
• Strong knowledge of suspension geometry, axle alignment, frame measuring systems, and welding techniques.
• Ability to read frame specifications, alignment charts, and measurement blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy-duty truck and trailer alignment using advanced alignment systems.
• Diagnose steering, suspension, and frame damage through measurement and inspection.
• Operate frame-straightening systems to correct structural deviations.
• Inspect and test repaired vehicles to verify alignment accuracy.
