Job summary

Valley View Casino & Hotel in Valley Center, CA is seeking a Heavy Duty EVS Attendant to perform high area cleaning, carpet and floor care, and use powered equipment. Team Members follow guidelines under supervision to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

You will work with the Environmental Services team, uphold standards of excellence, and participate in maintaining guest satisfaction while adhering to safety and attendance expectations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Operate a man lift and work at heights up to 40 feet.
• Read, analyze and interpret safety rules and guidelines in English.
• Apply common sense to instructions and established policies.
• Define problems, collect data and draw valid conclusions.
• Maintain consistent attendance and professional conduct.
• Must apply for, receive and maintain a Gaming License and pass drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Support Standards of Excellence, Mission and Vision statements.
• Maintain positive guest relations and resolve guest complaints.
• Wipe down, dust, vacuum and clean high areas as required.
• Clean all glass above a 6 foot level.
• Assist carpet crew with duties as needed.
• Dust and clean furniture and fixtures; perform extraction cleaning.
• Clean elevators and restrooms; remove trash and debris.
• Restock supplies and maintain knowledge of events on property.
• Adhere to company policies, perform ethically, and maintain attendance.
