Job summary

Pero Transport, LLC is seeking a Heavy-Duty Truck Technician in Delray Beach, FL. This full-time, onsite role reports to the Fleet Manager and requires performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on our fleet of heavy trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities include safe operation of tools, adherence to warranty policies, and proactive identification of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues. CDL preferred; ASE certifications a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic (heavy-duty preferred).
• Proficient with diesel engines, diagnostics, hydraulics and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on trucks and trailers.
• Operate garage tools, diagnostic equipment, lifts, hoists and jacking equipment safely.
• Follow warranty policies and procedures; analyze and resolve problems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
