A premier commercial equipment provider in Wichita, KS is seeking a Diesel Technician. Responsibilities include performing service and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, conducting inspections and diagnostic tests, and maintaining accurate records. Qualifications

• Must be able to pass mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver’s license required, CDL preferred.
• Steel toe shoes or boots needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and repair on heavy duty trucks.
• Conduct inspections & diagnostic tests.
• Maintain vehicle records of service and repairs.

Skills

Solid working knowledge of power tools

Strong mechanical aptitude

Excellent communication skills

Education

High School diploma or equivalent (GED)

Certifications from OEM's in trucking

2 years of tech school
