Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, strong EGR/emissions system knowledge, and familiarity with Freightliners/Detroit engines; DC electrical systems and office software skills are also valued.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience servicing tractor/heavy equipment and medium to heavy diesel trucks.
  • Strong knowledge of EGR and emissions control systems, foundation, air and ABS brakes, and DC electrical systems.
  • Experience with Freightliners and Detroit engines, chassis, driveline, hubs, wheel seals and air conditioning systems.
  • Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose failures by disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts as needed.
  • Perform preventive maintenance by changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment.
  • Repair diesel trucks including engines, alignments, suspension, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Inspect vital parts to ensure safe operating conditions for customers.

Heavy-Duty-Diesel Technician Opportunity Summary

Heavy-Duty-Diesel Technician are responsible for accurately troubleshooting, repairing, and diagnosing both routine maintenance and emergency services while making repair recommendations to customers. This position will work with other technicians to ensure all work scheduled is performed safely and to the customer’s satisfaction.

Job Duties
