Avi Resort and Casino in Laughlin, NV is seeking a dedicated room attendant to deep clean a set number of guest rooms daily or per project, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

You will perform tasks such as trash removal, bed stripping, mattress flipping, vacuuming, furniture and edge cleaning, window and mirror cleaning, and surface sanitization, while maintaining service with a smile for guests and team members.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of hotel cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Must read, write and understand English.
• Ability to obtain and maintain work cards as required by the company.

Responsibilities

• De-trash room.
• Strip beds.
• Flip mattresses and vacuum underneath.
• Pull furniture away from walls.
• Vacuum edges.
• Wipe down all walls, wallpaper and air conditioning vent.
• Wipe down case goods.
• Clean guest room window and mirrors.
• Remove burn marks from counter top in bathroom.
• Remove small burns from carpeting.
• Extract carpeting and drapes.
• Deep clean bathroom floor.
• Shampoo chairs and clean wood.
• Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Environment Conditions

The work environment is characterized as a hotel setting requiring multi-tasking, where standard equipment will be supplied and used as a part of the job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The immediate work environment is smoke free; however a smoking environment does exist in the building.
