Job summary

Plains Towing in Sturgis, SD is hiring a Heavy Duty Class A Tow Truck Operator to join our local team. This role offers paid in-house training to certify on our equipment and a path to experience in towing and recovery.

You'll load and secure vehicles, operate wreckers, respond to tow calls including long-distance dispatches, and maintain equipment while following DOT and company safety rules. 5-day work week, with overtime and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL and driver’s license.
• Able to lift 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs frequently.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Respond to tow/recovery calls, including long-distance dispatches.
• Maintain assigned equipment and facilities in safe working condition.
• Follow all DOT and company safety regulations.
