Job summary

BROTHERS Pro-Pave LLC is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic with at least 3 years of experience to join our team. The role covers diesel-powered vehicles and construction equipment, including pavers, millers, rollers, and bobcats, with on-site repairs and field service.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, performing scheduled maintenance, and welding as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in diesel mechanics for heavy trucks and construction equipment.
  • Experience with CAT and Cummins engines and large diesel Peterbilt/MACK engines is preferred.
  • Proficient in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and performing preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines on trucks and equipment.
  • Perform on-site repairs at job sites to minimize downtime.
  • Utilize welding for repairs and fabrication as needed.
  • Respond to field service calls and communicate repair progress to management.

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic with at least 3 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing skilled tasks in the mechanical repair and maintenance of heavy trucks, earth moving, and related construction equipment. Your duties will include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.

  • Conduct thorough inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines and heavy machinery such as pavers, millers, rollers, and bobcats, as well as company vehicles.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Handle complex and major repairs independently.
  • Utilize middle to advanced-level welding skills for various types of welding as needed.
  • Respond to field service calls with a focus on delivering high-quality, timely repairs.
  • Conduct on-site repairs at job locations to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with managers regarding repair progress and parts inventory needs.
  • Work effectively within a team, demonstrating a willingness to learn and train others.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships.

  • Skilled at large tractor truck diesels, including, CAT and CUMMINS engines, Large Diesel Peterbilt and MACK engines.
  • Skilled with Transmissions, exhaust systems, fuel systems, drivelines, differentials, hubs, and all other components of equipment including, pavers, millers, rollers, bobcats,
  • Experienced working on Bobcats / skid steer equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to ensure proper functioning and safe operation.
