Job summary

Tracey Road Equipment, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Construction Equipment Technician to diagnose, repair, and overhaul mechanical and pneumatic equipment used in construction, including backhoes, graders, wheel loaders, and more.

This full-time, day-shift role is based in Albany, NY, with a focus on keeping equipment up to manufacturers’ specifications and safety standards. You will perform routine maintenance, test and adjust performance, use diagnostic tools, and maintain detailed service records.

Qualifications

• Diagnose, repair, and overhaul mechanical and pneumatic equipment used in construction.
• Maintain records of maintenance and repairs.
• Experience with electrical systems and heavy equipment maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Relevant technical certifications are preferred.
