Job summary

SC Works Trident in Columbia, SC is seeking a part-time Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe environment across assigned areas. You will perform routine cleaning, restock supplies, and follow established schedules to ensure high standards.

The role requires physical stamina, reliability, ability to work independently, and basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals. Training may be provided, and drivers license/transportation are preferred to support site coverage.

Responsibilities

• Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, countertops, and fixtures.
• Restock cleaning supplies and paper goods as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals correctly and safely.
• Perform routine deep cleaning tasks when assigned (e.g., baseboards, windows, or specialty areas).
• Maintain cleanliness in both customer and staff areas (if applicable).
• Notify a supervisor of any damage, safety hazards, or maintenance needs.
• Maintain an organized storage area for cleaning tools and products.
